1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using NOVARI (“the app”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

NOVARI is a spatial workspace tool that lets you organize notes, boards, spreadsheets, and other content, with optional integrations such as Google sign-in, Google Calendar event creation, email reminders, and RSS/web feed fetching. NOVARI is a general-purpose data presentation and organization framework. Any calculators, charts, tables, or other tools within the app — including those that display or compute figures related to money, budgets, or investments — are provided purely as data-presentation utilities. Nothing in NOVARI constitutes financial, investment, tax, legal, or other professional advice, and NOVARI should not be relied upon as such.

3. Accounts

You may sign in using Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the Google account you use to sign in, and for all activity that occurs under your session.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use NOVARI for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users’ data or accounts
  • Use the email or feed-fetching features to send spam, malware, or abusive content
  • Interfere with or disrupt the app’s infrastructure

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you create in NOVARI. Because most content is stored locally in your browser, you are responsible for backing it up (e.g., using the app’s export feature). We are not liable for content lost due to browser storage clearing, device loss, or similar events.

6. Third-Party Services

NOVARI integrates with Google (for sign-in and Calendar) and other third-party services for optional features. Your use of those integrations is also subject to the relevant third party’s own terms and privacy policies.

7. Data Integrity and Assumption of Risk

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, sensitivity, and integrity of any data you choose to enter into NOVARI, including any financial, personal, or otherwise sensitive information. Neither NOVARI nor its creator(s) make any warranty regarding, and neither shall be held responsible for, the accuracy, completeness, security, or integrity of data entered, stored, or transmitted by users, whether that data resides locally in your browser or is transmitted through an optional feature (such as calendar sync, email reminders, or feed fetching) to complete an action you requested.

By signing in and using NOVARI, you acknowledge that certain information may be transmitted over the internet and through third-party services for the sake of the app’s utility, and you accept the inherent risks of such transmission, including the possibility of interception, loss, or unauthorized access outside of our control.

8. No Financial or Professional Advice

NOVARI is a data presentation and organization framework, not a financial advisory, investment, accounting, tax, or legal service. Any figures, calculations, charts, or summaries produced or displayed by NOVARI are for organizational and informational purposes only, reflect only the inputs you provide, and should not be relied upon as financial or other professional advice. You should consult a qualified professional before making financial, investment, tax, or legal decisions.

9. Service “As Is”

NOVARI is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of NOVARI, including loss or compromise of data stored locally in your browser or transmitted through any feature of the app, and including any decisions made in reliance on data, figures, or tools presented within NOVARI.

11. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify or discontinue NOVARI, in whole or in part, at any time. We may also update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using NOVARI and revoke Google access at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these Terms.
